The Computer Paper (selected)
I was with The Computer Paper for over five years, first as the Test Lab Editor, then as Senior Products Editor. I did a lot of computer-centric writing at the beginning, and more consumer-oriented writing near the end. In September of 2003 The Computer Paper was transformed into HUB Digital Living magazine, which was even more consumer-friendly.

Global Hermit
Initially I thought I would be updating Globalhermit.com regularly with my own writing, but as it turns out I was just too busy with my regular work to want to come home and write a bunch more stuff for free. Here are a few things I did before I came to that realization.

Nostalgia is a four-letter word
(January 17, 2000)
Hating Craig Malkovich (April 7, 2000)
A Cureious Ending? (June 16, 2000)

Village Voice
Music is one of my ongoing passions. Thanks to my ongoing freelance reviews with All Media Guide, I was invited to participate in the Village Voice's Pazz and Jop poll. I also managed to sneak in a full-length article.

Pazz and Jop 2002 (contributor)
The Last Hypocrite (December 11 - 17, 2002 issue)
