Everything
in Texas is done on a big scale. Big hair! Big cars! Big roads!
Not
only are the roads big, they have a lot of them all in one place!
Sometimes
they even stack them 4 or 5 deep!
There's
even a world underneath the ones on the bottom. It's like anything could
happen.
Nothing
but steep concrete embankments. What could possibly go on under here?
Ah.
Camping! Of course!
This
is as close as I got to Austin, home of music in Texas.
Texas
is so big, they even do their street signs in a grand manner.
Don't
mess with Texas. You heard me. Yeah you. Quit messing with Texas. Are
you listening?
Even
the local beer is big.
Even
though the Denny's signs aren't bigger in Texas, they're still big.
In
a state this big, you gotta start the day with a big breakfast.

Sometimes
you just can't see Compaq Corporation for the trees.
This
is what the trip was all about. Flash. An industry showcase. Geodesic
homes!
Oh,
also for a chance to be in a room with the world's richest man and try
to borrow a couple of bucks!

Journalism
is a pretty hard game. Then again, maybe it's the partying in strange
cities.
Maybe
it's just the sort of thing that happens to you when you enter a city
with such a warm greeting...
...when
there's such a scary thing on the other side of that greeting.
Maybe
it's better that I just head home. Hey, it's weird. I didn't notice
how green Houston was until I was above it, heading home.
L-l-l-Little
fluffy clouds.
The
sun is also big in Texas, but eventually it has to set.
Like
so. Bye y'all.
